Travel to Vancouver Island

There are a few options when traveling to Vancouver Island:

• Fly to either the Nanaimo or Victoria airport. You may have to transfer through YVR (the Vancouver International Airport. Car rentals are available at both airports. Please check the website.

• Fly to the Vancouver International Airport and take a ferry to Vancouver Island. There are several ferry options, see the BC Ferries website for details and reservations. 

  • Horseshoe Bay, Vancouver to Departure Bay, Nanaimo​

  • Tsawwassen to Duke Point, Nanaimo

  • Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay, Victoria

• There are also Harbour Air Seaplanes and Helijet if you that fly to Nanaimo and Victoria.​
